Your story, simply and beautifully written.

Preserve Your Story Before It Fades

So often we hear, “One day I’ll write a book,” or family members urging, “Write your story before it’s too late.”

Time slips by. Memories fade. Lives pass. And the stories that shaped us disappear.

The Memoir Writer makes writing your story easy, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding.

You will be gently interviewed by me, Natalie Stockdale, a Big Sky Publishing author and podcast host, who listens deeply.

Together, we’ll create a timeless book that your family will cherish for generations to come, simply and beautifully.

Why It Matters

One day, the stories of our parents and grandparents will only exist in fragments - a few photos, a handful of memories, a name on a family tree.

But when their stories are written, we gain more than history. We gain understanding, connection and gratitude.

A written memoir becomes more than a book. It’s a bridge between generations, a way for grandchildren and great-grandchildren to understand their roots, their family, and themselves.

Why People Choose The Memoir Writer

1. It’s expandable

Your memoir comes with an editable Word file, which means you can add new memories, update details or expand your story anytime. Your memoir can grow as your life continues to unfold. Unlike many services, your story is not fixed or final. You can keep building on it whenever you wish.

2. It’s easy

You complete a worksheet and then we talk. No stress, no pressure and no complicated process. I guide you gently from start to finish and take care of the writing for you.

3. It’s personal and supportive

You work with me, a human, not a software program. Most people find the experience enjoyable and even therapeutic. Talking through your life can bring clarity, gratitude and peace of mind. With a background in trauma therapy (Certified TRTP Practitioner), I listen with sensitivity and care.

4. It’s beautifully written

Your memoir is written by an experienced, Big Sky Publishing author . It will sound like you, only clearer and more polished.

5. It’s concise and readable

Long memoirs are often browsed, but not read. My memoirs are crafted to be concise, readable and engaging. Not too short, not too long. Just the right length for family and friends to enjoy … and actually finish.

6. It’s affordable and professional

Traditional ghost-writing can cost tens of thousands of dollars and take many months or over a year to complete. The Memoir Writer offers a premium service completed in about six weeks, for an accessible price.

7. You can be interviewed from home

Because the service is conducted via phone and Zoom, you can be interviewed from anywhere in Australia. No travel, no inconvenience, just a relaxed conversation from your favourite chair. It’s private, simple and convenient.
